Henry
Ruan
has a doctoral degree from Pace University with a teaching experience of Chinese
in a NYC public school for over 25 years. Dr. Ruan is an adjunct professor at
both Teachers College Columbia and Hofstra University. Since 2012, he has served
as the supervisor of student teaching at the above universities. From
2008 – 2012, Dr.
Ruan served as a member of AP Chinese Course Denvelopment Committee of College
Board, and he has been a Content Leader in AP Chinese Exam Reading since 2007.
In 2016, Dr. Ruan has taken charge of “Journal of Research on Teaching Chinese
Language” as the Chief Editor, which promotes the research and exchange of
teaching Chinese language among K-12 educators in America. With a great passion
in teacher training, he has been invited to numerous professional development
