This roundtable discussion will bring together veteran teachers of K-12 Chinese with first year teachers to consider what it means to be an effective teacher of Chinese. Issues including classroom management, curriculum and lesson planning, assessment, incorporating culture, and meeting the standards will be addressed. Teachers, both new and veteran, are encouraged to attend to learn and to share their own experiences and ideas
