Chinese Stamps and the Teaching of Chinese Language and Culture

      Stamps are the business card of each country and have a very high aesthetic and cultural value.They can also be used in the teaching of  Chinese language and culture.In stamps, there are abundant cultural contents, such as traditional festivals, tourism, history, literature and art etc.There are also tea culture, fan culture, clothes culture,antiques,four treasures for ancient study,Four Arts, Four Gentelmen In Flowers,which we can use in classroom to give the students a comprehensive and vivid image.In the classroom, we can use the stamps as the introductry and supplyment materrials for the language points and culture contents.

      In the cultural activities,the using of stamp show,design of paper stamps,and electric stamps is a good way to attract the students and encourage their love for Chinese culture.There are some special stamps about the contrast of Western and Chinese culture,and also the stamps issued by China and the other countries together.
