A Concert of Chinese Songs

·         12 songs of 3 groups: Han Chinese, ethnic minorities, and modern art songs

·         A brief introduction to each song on its history, music style, and content, etc.

·         Concert time: about an hour.

·         Piano accompanist Margaret Pej Reitz is a piano professor at Ithaca College and Binghamton University, one of the best piano accompanists in the U.S.

·         Financial arrangement: Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera at Binghamton University is willing to co-sponsor the concert by reimbursing mileage and lodging for Hong Zhang and Pej Reitz. CLTA-GNY needs to provide honorarium for the two performers.
