参加美国大纽约地区国际汉语教学学术研讨会论文关于国际汉语教学“本土化”与“普适性”教材的理论探讨

“本土化语言教材”与“普适性语言教材”是一组相对的概念。“普适性语言教材”强调通用性、但缺乏对特定学习群体的针对性。“本土化语言教材”强调对某一国家或地区学习群体的针对性。“本土化”有时也用“国别化”替代。论文探讨两类教材的基本特征、优势、不足和特质,对两类汉语教材的相对性和互补性进行讨论,提出本土化教材的四个要素。文章指出,“普适性” 和“本土化”都是相对的。真正“普适性”的汉语教材是一个难以实现的理想,但可以作为一个永恒的努力方向,而“本土化”汉语教材则是一个看得见摸得着的目标,是提高各国汉语教材针对性的现实出路。努力编写优质本土化教材,应该是解决当前汉语国际传播教材问题的现实出路。“本土化”教材这个概念包括“国别化” 和“区域化”两类教材。
On the Localization
and Generalization of Chinese Language Textbooks
Localized
language textbooks and universal language textbooks are two concepts describing
two different kinds of textbooks. Universal language textbooks emphasize the
universal characteristics while lack of the accordance with specific group of
learners. Localized textbooks emphasize the accordance with specific group of
learners in certain countries or regions. In the paper, the basic
characteristics, advantages, shortcomings, special qualities, the relativity as
well as complementarities are discussed. It is pointed out that universal and
localized are both relative. Universal textbooks should be regarded as a dream,
an aim or a direction rather than a kind of textbooks in reality. To try to
compile excellent localized textbooks are best ways to solve the problems of
textbooks in the process of the globalization of Chinese language.
