Abstract 提要:
一个课本对学生而言,不单单是课本里面的词汇表和语法解释,其中的课文更是囊括了词汇、语法及应用情景等语料的精华。我们不能说课本是学习语言的圣经,但可以说课文是学生运用所学词汇及语法的指导手册。 因此,作为老师,要努力通过不同的方式让学生最大限度地练习课文,将课文里的句子稍作调整变成学生自己的。在美国长大的学生常常没有“背诵”课文的概念,更对中文老师所提的“背诵”课文深恶痛绝。在这样的前提下,老师就要通过不同的方式让学生练习课文,使学生对课文的掌握达到与背诵相近的程度,使学生能将课文里的典型句子在适当的场景下脱口而出。过多地重复“角色扮演”不但不能充分调动学生练习的积极性,而且也不能增加学生对语法及句式的敏感性。 报告人将以《中文听说读写》教材里的对话为例,与大家分享一些练习课文的技巧。 希望这些技巧能够帮助老师设计适合学生的课上或者是课下的活动,让学生多练习课文对话并将之应用在实际生活学习中。
Weiwei Yu is a founding Chinese teacher at Pingry School in Martinsville NJ. Her undergraduate major is Chinese language and literature, but her interest of teaching Chinese started when she was studying communication at Marquette University. After graduation, she has taught immersion Chinese program to preschool and school age children, initiated a Chinese program at Whitby School in CT, and Pingry School in NJ. She is currently pursuing a Master degree in teaching Chinese as a second language at Middlebury College, and found learning and teaching are both fun and rewarding.
