Content-based Chinese Language Teaching in Practice

     This paper is going to analyze the real teaching experience with content-based approach. It's going to discuss the possibility, advantage and limit of this approach in Chinese language teaching. This approach has been used in Bennington College from beginner's level to senior level. By giving details about how this approach is carried out in Bennington College, It discusses in the paper how content-based approach concerns different aspects about Chinese Teaching such as 5 C's and how it should fit students' needs at different levels. Therefore, it comes to the conclusion about the best situation for using this approach as a primary method in Chinese teaching.
