Topic: Different strategies in learning Chinese

        Language learners always use different strategies to learn a new language, and students with different language proficiency level use different strategies in learning a new language.  Age, motivation, personality, and other factors also have great impacts on language learning.  Thus, this case study examine two beginning Chinese language learners’ language learning strategies, motivation, and Chinese exposure that effect the Chinese learning.  Suggestions in teaching instructions will be made for Chinese language teachers to apply them to cases that is similar to the participants in this case study.
